With each passing year, Bansal Group outdoes its own previous record of recycling the oldest and biggest containers, with a commitment towards sustainability and the responsibility towards the society.

An important aspect of the Bansal Group’s work ethic is not only to recycle ships with an environmentally safe and responsible approach, but also cater to other philanthropic activities which extend beyond the business.

It is the company’s belief that by persistent efforts towards the shipping business, and consistent CSR activities that vouch to aid the growth of everyone around, the company will be able to soar high leaving all the prevalent macro-economic conditions, making the nation and the organization an evolved model of growth and change.

2. Your perspective about the Global Ship Recycling Market?

Gone are the times when demolition or scrapping of ships was often an unfavorable business because it used to be completely run in a hotch-potch manner. But in the era of ecopreneurs, while environment comes above everything, we intend to run this business in a pre-planned and well-intended manner. This practice is helping to establish ship recycling as an important, lucrative and truly sustainable industry throughout the world.

3. Mandatory Safety & Environment related Practices & Policies your company follows?

We are committed to consciously create, maintain and ensure environmental welfare by recycling ships in order to maximize public welfare. Our practices are channeled towards sustainable development, thereby focusing on the efficient application of safe work practices for ensuring health and safety, compliance and economic stability. Our recycling facilities have been upgraded technically and organizationally to fulfil the Hong Kong International Convention (HKC) for the Safe & Environmentally Sound Recycling of ships which has been independently certified by ClassNK, Lloyds Register and Bureau Veritas.

4. Ship Recycling Policy of Bansal Group?

To attain our aim to serve the ship owners, as well as the environment and the global community better, we have created a powerful squad of highly-trained and well-experienced professionals who always devote themselves to their best. Our workers toil seamlessly amidst the valuables, debris, hazardous materials, in precarious conditions and changing weather conditions, our core focus at any given point of time is the protection of health, safety and environment.

5. As a responsible Ship Recycling Company, Your Message to the Global Ship Owners?

While cruising around with a compassionate motive, we at Bansal Group not only take care of ship owners, involved workers, and the environment; also, we’re here to contribute significantly to the education and health of the needy and to empower women of our nation to go ahead independently, and upraise our economy.
