NAVNAUTIK Pte Ltd, Singapore bags order for providing the 'complete design and production engineering solution' for 2 nos. 70T bollard pull tugs which will be built in Bangladesh for their port purpose.
The two tugs will be built at Khulna Shipyard, Bangladesh and supplied to Payra Port Authority, Bangladesh to support in smooth operation of port activities.
The tugs are designed for multi-purpose roles as follows:
- Tow / push / pull / move / berthing / un-berthing vessels
- External fire fighting
- Rescue men overboard
- Capability to assist other vessels for damage control, firefighting or others
- Operation will be 24 hours/day continuous operation. Capable of remaining on station for minimum 7 days
- Safety rescue and salvage facility
- Offshore service
The tugs are designed for ASD propulsion driven by two nos. marine diesel engines.
