news-details

On March 14, the 114,000-ton crude oil tanker "GREEN ANAX" independently developed and designed by the 708th Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation was successfully delivered, marking the successful conclusion of the 708th Institute's series of green and environmentally friendly Aframax tankers.

The 114,000-ton crude oil tanker has an overall length of 249.9 meters, a molded width of 44 meters, a molded depth of 21.5 meters, and a structural draft of 15 meters. It has entered the Bureau Veritas (BV). The energy efficiency design index (EEDI) of the ship has been reduced by 27% compared with the baseline, meets the TierIII emission standard of nitrogen oxides, and meets the latest OCIMF and EXXONMOBIL requirements. The structural design meets the latest Harmonized Common Structural Rules (HCSR) for bulk carriers and oil tankers, with excellent vibration and noise performance and high living comfort. Adopt mature cargo oil system design to ensure safe use. The design of the ship also takes into account a large number of customized requirements of the ship owner, and meets BV's latest CLEANSHIP SUPER, CYBER MANAGED, ESA and other additional safety and environmental protection classification symbols.

In recent years, the 708 Institute has continued to update and iterate the types of oil tankers at all levels. After nearly a year of in-depth development, it has recently launched a new generation of 114,000-ton oil tankers. The performance of this type of ship has been greatly improved in terms of fuel economy, EEDI, cabin capacity, structural weight, and construction convenience, and has strong market competitiveness.
