First Milestone on HYDRA is Achieved!
Steel Cutting Milestone representing the commencement of fabrication works on HYDRA Offshore Fish Farm Project has been achieved. This first milestone has been dated by gathering together with project related individuals warmly at our NETA Prefabrication Facility.
HYDRA is the latest generation and self floating Offshore Fish Farming Unit comes with an innovative design to contribute sustainable fish farming. The Unit is being built as per DNV Offshore and NYTEK regulations. It is highly automated for unmanned operation offshore by having continuous monitoring and control means through a shore based control station.
Being such a considerable volumetric floating structure with Dia:78m and H:52m dimensions Hydra shall be utilized mainly for growing salmon in Norwegian waters by Messrs. Nordlaks.
