Two NYK Group-managed Vessels Win Best Quality Ship 2022 Awards Selected by Pilots
Two vessels, LNG DREAM and Eienmaru, which are managed by the NYK Group, have been awarded the Best Quality Ship 2022 award by the Japan Federation of Pilots' Associations (Note 1). This is the second award for LNG DREAM, following the one in 2015.

The award was established in 2003 with the aim of raising awareness of the safe operation of ships and the protection of harbors and the marine environment (Note 2). Every year from September to October, ships (within 10 ships) that are considered to be particularly excellent are selected from among the ships boarded by pilots in pilot districts nationwide.
In the selection process, facilities for safe and reliable boarding and disembarkation of pilots, adequate BRM (Note 3) training, and a unified onboard command system are evaluated comprehensively. A total of 30 vessels managed by the NYK Group have received awards since the establishment of the award.
